Bashakill Wildlife Management Area

This is where long path section 11 ends and long path section 12 starts. This is also one of our favorite spots to do some kayaking at the Bashakill. You can fish at Bashakill, watch the wildlife, photograph eagles or walk the trail. In the summer we have brought family and friends here to enjoy it with us. We even pulled our moms in a raft and enjoyed a double rainbow that day.

If you’re hungry after your kayaking excursion, you can go to Giovanni’s Inn. They offers pizza on Wednesdays and Thursdays only and that’s usually when we go. We pick up two pies and take them with us on our kayak. Pizza while you kayak and enjoy all the wildlife at Basha Kill? Yes, please!
