Delaware River Adventures
The Delaware River is a great place for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing or tubing. You can also go camping here or come and watch the eagles from Hawk’s Nest.
In the area, you will also find great hikes such as the D&H canal toe path or Mongaup River Trail. In Port Jervis you also have Elks Brox Memorial Park which has hiking and biking trails. We enjoyed a nice 10 mile hike here during the pandemic.
Our favorite thing to do at the Delaware River is tubing. If you have multiple cars, your own tubes and life-vests, this is even more enjoyable. You can also bring your own rafts or kayaks or rent from one of the many campsites in the area. Delaware River tubing is really fun and will make a great memory for your family and friends.
